Habit 7 is the habit of renewal.  The effective practice of Habit 7 is the commitment to daily renewal for ourselves.  We call this our daily Private Victory.  Achieving this means that we are willing to recognise our self-importance and self-worth.  We allow ourselves to achieve something each day that provides balance in our lives.  Heart, mind, body and soul are the pillars that require attention.

Habit 7 is unique to all of us.  What provides balance for one person may not be the same for another.  During our fortnightly screen free tasks, the students have been finding ways to demonstrate their learning through Habit 7.  Using a matrix of tasks connected to their literacy, numeracy and inquiry learning our students have chosen a task that connects with them and provides them with an opportunity to Sharpen The Saw.

Now more than ever it is essential that we strive to achieve a daily private victory.   We hope you enjoy these snapshots of our students stretching themselves to feel balanced in heart, mind body and soul.
