About the Role:
Oakleigh Grammar are currently inviting applications for the roles of Early Learning Centre Assistant which we title as ELC Co-Educator’s, commencing Monday 24 April 2023.
Oakleigh Grammar has a long and successful history in the early learning sector.
As the ELC Co-Educator you will work alongside and assist the classroom teacher in order to provide a happy, rigorous, inclusive, nurturing, encouraging, caring and safe learning environment where every student is challenged to achieve their personal best.
The successful candidates will be an outstanding ELC Co-Educator, and on top of the listed duties in the Position Description, the successful candidate will require the following skill set:
Key requirements:
Minimum requirement of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education Care or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education Care;
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC) card for Employees;
- HLTAID 012 Child First Aid Course – First Aid in an Education and Care setting (includes Asthma training)
- Anaphylaxis eTraining or equivalent (such as 22578VIC)
- Demonstrated experience as a Co-Educator
- A sound understanding of the NQS, Education and Care Services and National Law and National regulations
- Capacity to assist in the development and provision of a dynamic and proactive student-focused teaching environment, based upon the Early Years Learning Framework curriculum document and ELC philosophy;

Oakleigh Grammar School seeks to appoint a qualified and experience Laboratory Assistant to cover a Long Service Leave position for Term 3, commencing 10 July, 2023 – 15 September 2023. The position being offered is available either part time or full time.

About the Role:
The Science Laboratory Assistant is responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the Senior School Science laboratories. This includes providing technical support, training and practical set ups as required by the staff. In addition, the position involves further support in General Science practical activities and is required to work in a collegiate manner in partnership with fellow teachers and members of the Oakleigh Grammar Community.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Science or Applied Science Degree / Diploma – Preferable
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) card for Employees
- HLTAID 012 Child First Aid Course – First Aid in an Education and Care setting (includes Asthma training)
- Anaphylaxis eTraining or equivalent (such as 22578VIC)
- Computer skills as required, particularly using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, e-mail and online learning management systems.
Qualifications
- Science or Applied Science Degree / Diploma – preferable
- Current Driver License
- Maintain Level 1 First Aid Certificate
