2019 Mother’s Day Classic

Mothers Day Classic 2019

This past Sunday the 12th May, our Head of Senior School, Sharron Frame, accompanied by some of our generous teachers, lead 16 Year 11 students around the Tan track to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Leading up to the event, our entrepreneurial students conducted a fundraising sausage sizzle for all Middle and Senior School students to help contribute to their 4km walk. This event is one that students look forward to each year, as the charity holds a special place to many who know or who have been affected by such a terrible disease.

With a total of $2171.33 raised, the students and school leadership were thrilled by such a positive contribution that could be made on behalf of Oakleigh Grammar. The gallery below is a collection of wonderful photos from the event taken by our Deputy Principal – Operations, Peter Dickinson, who also participated on Sunday.
