Oakleigh Grammar announces revised leadership structure

During the course of this year, we have been liaising and consulting with various Oakleigh Grammar stakeholders for the purpose of identifying key drivers for our new Strategic Plan, commencing 2023.
We thank all parents who contributed to the survey process and can advise your input has been most valuable and has been used in consultations with our staff and members of the School Board. Consequently, we have revised our Vision, Mission and Values statement and created a Vision, Mission and Ethos document which includes our strategic approach to 2023 and beyond.
In order to align our Leadership structure to the three key drivers of our new Strategic Plan; Leadership and Culture, Strategy and Systems and Learning and Performance, a revision of our current leadership structure has taken place, leading to the addition of a new Deputy Principal position, which will allow our School to have three strong leaders overseeing each of the three key drivers.
Commencing next year, three Deputy Principal positions will be as follows:
• Mr Peter Dickinson Deputy Principal – Student Wellbeing and Operations
• Mrs Shelley Parkes Deputy Principal – Professional Culture and Junior School
• Mr Lance Ryan Deputy Principal – Teaching and Learning

Mr Dickinson will focus his leadership on his passion of Student Wellbeing and maintain his Operations oversight. Mrs Parkes will assume a whole school leadership role in Professional Culture in conjunction with leading our Junior School. Mr Ryan will maintain his portfolio of Teaching and Learning with a particular emphasis on improving academic ethos throughout our School.
Congratulations is extended to all three Deputy Principals and we look forward to 2023 and beyond with great optimism for our School community.
