Oakleigh Grammar extends best wishes to former student Theo Zographos, who as a long serving Oakleigh Ward representative of the Monash City Council is a nominee in the forthcoming Victorian Council elections. Theo has supported our School and Greek Community extensively during his tenure and we wish him every success knowing he will continue his authentic representation and support of our School and Community on Council.
With the Victorian council elections underway from next week we want to wish one of our alumni all the best for his re-election. Theo Zographos attended Oakleigh Grammar from 1994 to 2006 and served as School Captain in his final year. He holds a Bachelor of Communication majoring in Journalism and Public Relations and also completed further executive education from Harvard Law School (via HarvardX – Contract Law from Trust to Promise to Contract) and Melbourne Business School (Data for Decision makers).
Theo has served on the Monash Council the last eight years being the youngest member during that time. In the elections beginning October 6, he also happens to be the only Greek Australian candidate in Oakleigh Ward where our school is located. Away from local council he works at ANZ as a relationship manager within its commercial division and also lives locally with his young family. Theo is a great supporter of our school community, something that will continue if he remains on the council.
