Recently, our Year 7 students took part in a meaningful service activity, preparing sandwiches for a crisis centre as part of their pastoral program and the school’s commitment to Service as Action. Working together as a team, they produced an incredible 400 sandwiches, which were delivered to those in need through the organisation 5 Loaves.
Through this experience, students developed empathy, collaboration skills, and an understanding of the impact small acts of kindness can have on the wider community. This initiative also aligns strongly with the Round Square IDEALS of Service and Leadership, encouraging our students to become compassionate, socially responsible global citizens.
