Enrolment

Rooted in Orthodox Christian tradition and Hellenic heritage, Oakleigh Grammar nurtures both the mind and the spirit of students from all cultures and faiths.

Faith in Practice

The Orthodox Christian faith is lived out in daily life through action (praxis) and moral character (ethos).

Rooted in Christ’s commandments and the life of the Church, students are formed in the virtues of love, humility, compassion, and integrity, learning to embody their faith through personal conduct, service to others, and ethical decision-making.

We support students in developing a Christ-centred identity that shapes their relationships and responsibilities.

Feast Days and Liturgies

Students experience Orthodox Christian worship as the living expression of faith and communion with God.

They participate in liturgical life of the Church, attending services at the Parish Church of Saints Anargiri on a termly basis as well as the rhythms of the liturgical year by participating in various Major Feast Days across Melbourne.

Students are invited to encounter worship not only as external practice but as a transformative and personal encounter with Christ, shaping their identity and daily life.
