On Friday 2nd March, our Year 7 students took part in the first Team Building Challenge Workshop of the year, which was run by Paul from PGT Programs.
The students enthusiastically participated in a variety of fun activities, including a circle activity where they had to think quickly to mime either a rabbit, elephant or cow. Excitement reached peak levels when the Play-Doh came out (that included the teachers too).
The activities were designed to get students thinking about their own strengths and weaknesses, and to reflect on the IB Learner Profile Attributes; challenging them to communicate, think, be open-minded, knowledgeable, be reflective, and to take a risk.
The session was the first of three to be run by PGT Programs, with the other two sessions to be held later this year, building on the skills introduced in this first workshop. It was a great break from the classroom and a positive finish to the week.
