Sporting skills, health and physical education

As they journey through the school students undertake classes in health, physical education and sport. Emphasis in the core curriculum is on skills, fitness, and basic knowledge of various sports. The longer term vision encourages an interest and enjoyment of physical activity that will form lifetime habits. Students are encouraged to develop skill, team work, effort and to strive to better their performance. The excellent sports and gym facilities provide students with a positive environment for growth in physical fitness.

There are opportunities for students to enjoy sports for recreation and pleasure and also for competition both within the school and in inter-school sports.
