The Junior School students have attended Hands on Science Workshops today, and discovered all sorts of things in the amazing world of science!
Our Preps experimented with their senses through biology, and completed a variety of tests to understand the purpose of the five human senses, and how they work.
The Year 2s have been investigating the push and pull forces that make objects move, and are having fun exploring the variables that affect movement such as size and shape. They’ve learnt some pretty cool words like gravity and force, and how these are applicable in our everyday lives.
The Year 5s were working in the realm of physics, and investigated the properties of light: source, colour, shadows, reflection and refraction.
Our little scientists have so much more knowledge about the world of science, and are thankful to the teachers and everyone involved!
