Getting Organised

This morning our teachers were privy to an organisational workshop, with a huge thanks to Sue Glasser from PaperClip Professional Organisers, for getting Term 3 started off right!

While some people are naturally gifted with organisational skills, others find that the classroom can get overwhelming very quickly, especially if there are a number of tasks to do.

Sue introduced us to the idea of “eating the frog”, in other words, doing the hardest job first so that the rest of your day is a breeze! While a lot of people like to tick off the easy jobs first, she explained that this creates procrastination, and leaves the big ugly frog sitting there staring at you – how’s that for a visual?!

We’d like to thank Sue for her time, and look forward to seeing her concepts in practice throughout the term.
