Admission Procedures

While waitlists occur for the entry years of Oakleigh Grammar, from time to time a limited number of vacancies occur at other year levels.

Vacancies in 2017 exist at: Year 1 and Year 9

Oakleigh Grammar is an independent, co-educational, open entry School. Students of all learning abilities, nationalities and faiths are welcome.

We enrol students from 2 years of age for our ELC Toddler Program through to VCE.

Major intakes are at Prep and Years 6 & 7, however students are accepted into all levels, where vacancies exist.

Priority for admission is given as follows:

  1. To siblings of existing or past students
  2. To children of permanent staff members
  3. To children who attended the Early Learning Centre who continue on to Prep
  4. To children of former students
  5. By date of application

Admission Forms must be accompanied by the following documentation:

  • Copy of child’s birth certificate / passport
  • Copy of immunisation records
  • Copy of visa (visitors and temporary residents only)

 

Early Learning Centre Admission Requirements

  • On acceptance of a place in the ELC a further confidential enrolment form is required by the Education and Care Services National Regulations before the child commences.
  • ELC staff also need to sight immunisation record book

Middle & Secondary School Admission Requirements

  • Copies of NAPLAN results
  • Copies of past school reports

Admission Fees

Registration Fee – $100 non-refundable payment required for each child on submission application.

Family Admission Fee – New families to the school (i.e. there are no siblings in the ELC, Primary or Secondary Schools) are required to pay a $500.00 Family Admission Fee per family (non-refundable). This payment, together with a signed Acceptance Form confirms the enrolment.
